Hanging out at a coffee shop. Gotsta gotsta gotsta go. I gotta get out of here. The city is closing in. Lights and sounds everywhere.
It isn’t that bad. I am quite used to this now. The over stimulation of English conversations. People with people. It isn’t like Paris. Oh no. People make eye contact, spark up conversation.
Master of avoidance, I still haven’t bought a coffee yet. Just hanging out on the internet. Trying to get things together before I begin the descent to California. This is going to be interesting…
I have a hitch hiking partner again. One of my best friends, Jon, will accompany me. Might even meet my family.
That is where I am headed. Good ol’ San Joaquin Valley. My sister is having a baby on Sunday. Hopefully before. If someone would just pull the plug on the whole thing… Things will be back to normal (?) by the end of the month when I officially turn a year older.
This is all just some crazy scheme. They all think they have got me fooled, but I am the one with the upper hand. Ha ha ha!!
I have a few posts pending. Don’t worry. They will be good. A lot less random and crazy as this one. But equally entertaining to post. I added a few older posts recently, after having edited them a bit. They are worth checking out.
Just thought I would give a short shout out that I am still alive and kicking. That there are still stories to live and tell, even if I am on my home turf now. Life and Adventure goes on.
I am still basking in the spreading light. Life is good.
We were talking-about the space between us all
And the people-who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse the truth-then it’s far too late-when they pass away.
We were talking-about the love we all could share-when we find it
To try our best to hold it there-with our love
With our love-we could save the world-if they only knew.
Try to realize it’s all within yourself
No-one else can make you change
And to see you’re really only very small,
And life flows ON within you and without you.
We were talking-about the love that’s gone so cold and the people,
Who gain the world and lose their soul-
They don’t know-they can’t see-are you one of them?
When you’ve seen beyond yourself-then you may find, peace of mind,
Is waiting there-
And the time will come when you see
we’re all one, and life flows on within you and without you.
